Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

1. Promotional offer available for new approved customers only, from Q Mastercard applications received from 12:00am 4 November to 11:59pm 26 December 2023 New Zealand local time (“Offer Period”). Applications received outside the Offer Period will be ineligible. 
2. Eligible customers who have (a) applied, been approved, and opened a Q Mastercard account during the Offer Period will have the annual Account Fee (NZD$50) waived for the first year (“Offer”). Note that the 1st year fee waiver is processed as follows: the charge of the first instalment of the $50 Annual Account Fee ($25) will be followed by a refund of the same amount ($25) shortly after opening your Account. The second instalment of $25 will be charged and refunded six months after opening your Account. 
3. The entity responsible for this promotion is Columbus Financial Services Limited (“Promoter”). 
4. To be eligible to redeem the Offer the promo code ‘1YEARFREE’ must be entered into the promo field on the first page of the application. 
5. After the first year, the annual Account Fee of $50 applies and will be charged in accordance with the Terms & Conditions applying to your Q Mastercard. 
6. Excludes any new accounts created with a first purchase being a Long Term Finance purchase (including Flexi Pay purchases) or Fixed Instalments. Excludes Cash Advances. 
7. The Promoter reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend, or terminate this offer and these terms and conditions at any time without notice. 
8. Redemption of the Offer is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Valid from 12:01am Saturday 4 November to 11.59pm Tuesday 26 December 2023 New Zealand local time (“Prize Draw Period”). Entries received outside this time will be ineligible for entry. 
2. The entities responsible for this promotion are Consumer Finance Limited (Q Card) and Columbus Financial Services Limited (Q Mastercard) (together, the “Promoter”).  
3. There is one (1) prize in total to give away (“Prize Draw”).  
4. One (1) Prize Draw winner will receive $50,000 deposited into their nominated NZ bank account and verified by Promoter (“Prize”).  
5. One (1) entry into the Prize Draw is automatic every time a purchase is made with Q Card or Q Mastercard during the Prize Draw Period. The transaction date is determined by when and where the merchant processes the purchase and is outside of the Promoters control and may affect eligibility. Purchases made overseas or online will be accepted in the merchants local time, which may affect eligibility. 
6. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.  Details provided by entrants or the Prize Draw winners, will be verified by the Promoter to validate the eligibility of the entrant or Prize Draw winner, as the case may be.  If for any reason, a Prize Draw winner is deemed ineligible for any reasons, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement Prize Draw winner. 
7. The “Prize” is not negotiable or transferable. 
8. To be eligible for a Prize, an account must not be in arrears at the time the Prize Draw takes place. 
9. Any purchases made during the Prize Draw Period that have been cancelled, refunded, returned, or suspended before the Prize Draw date will not be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw. 
10. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries from the Prize Draw Period.  
11. The Prize Draw will take place at 111 Carlton Gore Rd, Newmarket, Auckland on Friday 12 January 2024. 
12. The Prize Draw winner will be notified via phone or email by Friday 19 January 2024. If the Prize Draw  winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, Promoter reserves the right to re-draw an alternative Prize winner.  
13. The Promoter collects personal information in order to offer the Prize. If the information is not requested or provided, then the entrants or Prize Daw winners may not participate in the Prize Draw.  Acceptance of the Prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use that information including the Prize Draw winner’s details, first name and photograph, for promotion and media purposes without any further reference, payment, or other compensation to the Prize Draw winner. Refer to our Privacy Policy.  
14. The Promoter reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend, or terminate this offer and these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
15. If for any reason a Prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice. 
16. The Promoter is not liable for any failure (for whatever reason) to record an entry into the Prize Draw. 
17. Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
18. Employees of the Promoter and/or Humm (NZ) Limited are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.  
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury whatsoever, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with a prize or this Prize Draw. 
20. Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, the Promoter does not warrant the quality of such goods and/or services or their suitability. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
