Applying for a Q Card

Accepted primary ID documents

• NZ Photographic Drivers Licence (version number '5B' must be supplied)

• NZ Passport

• Farmers Finance Card

• Australian Passport

• Foreign Passport with NZ Permanent residency stamp (no work permits accepted)

• NZ Firearms Licence Photographic ID

 

Accepted secondary ID documents

Your name must be embossed on the card and the card must be signed:

• Mastercard

• Diners Card

• Visa Card

• GE Creditline Card

• American Express

• Smiths City Card

• 18+ Proof of Age Photographic ID Card (as issued by NZ Post - no others accepted)

• NZ Armed Force Photographic ID

Expired ID documents are not accepted. Old style non-photo driver's licence are not accepted.
